Suborbital flights achieve microgravity by briefly flying above the atmosphere and then returning.  Microgravity durations of minutes are achieved.  This is available today via sounding rockets.  In the near future, it should also be available on suborbital tourism vehicles.  The following are examples of these capabilities.
